Cross Edge site launched

http://nisamerica.com/games/crossedge/

I have nothing to say on name changes for Mana Khemia 2, as long as they carry over into that game if/when it's localized. Marie (Atelier Marie) didn't get changed, for some reason I was afraid they'd screw up on her. Same with the other characters that have established names (Darkstalkers and AT girls)

My only beef is with "Reyvatail". Come ON guys, you at least got that right in your mess you called Ar tonelico II. Don't let that get in the game. Besides, your rep is SERIOUSLY hanging on this game, NISA. If it sucks, that's three in a row (1 is Rhapsody, 2 is AT2).

I'm still not convinced that NISA won't bungle something with this game, like the voices.... There's a lot of things they could mess up if they screw with the coding like in AT2.

Since it's a PS3 game and not TOO graphics heavy (it seems), I'm holding out hope for a full track on both languages. As for actual VAs...I have no clue, it'll be hit or miss. Like Etna and the Prinnies will have their voices for sure, but the AT characters might all not, and god knows what Morrigan and Felicia will sound like.

Coding screw ups are just really stupid, and localizers shouldn't really be touching the coding (though Working Designs did and never added bugs...)

Yeah, the graphics aren't too heavy as compared to other PS3 titles. Still playing it on an HD TV using the HDMI connection makes the graphics look godly imo.

Well, there's probably room for both language tracks to be there in full, but it's highly likely that a lot will be cut for the English track. Pretty much everything is voiced, even the shopkeepers/alchemists "scenes." Of course all of them are party members anyway so it shouldn't tax them too much to add in the few extra lines each.

Hmm, yes I'm expecting a nightmare when it comes to matching the voices with the characters with the obvious exceptions of the NIS characters. I am particularly dreading what the Gust characters will sound like since I will be playing favs again. If it comes down to it, I'll just used the JP voices again.

Totally agreed. NISA should keep their hands off the coding since they have demonstrated twice already that their current crew has no idea what they are doing.

Since it is being said that they definitely have to add some things to the coding.... I am more then a tad worried about that.
